Ernest Mugadza

Ernest Mugadza trained as a chartered secretary and administrator (CIS) and has worked in a variety of accounting companies in Africa and UK.  Later in life he took a career change and retrained at University College London University in Law.  Called to the role as a solicitor he later becoming a duty solicitor and Advocate of the supreme court of the UK

 He is the Managing Director of Stanford Crowe.   As a Principal Solicitor in the practice his areas of specialist interest include Criminal, Civil, Immigration and Corporate law.  He manages and supervises a team of solicitors and paralegals working within a number of sites.

He has maintained his practice experience as he still attends both magistrates and crown court and takes his turn in attending on calls at immigration detention centres, police calls to main his skills.

Ernest is also an experienced legal lecture in criminal law, in the last few years he has successfully lectured at various universities in London, which has included delivering lectures, leading small and large tutor groups and coaching students to enable them to gain competence in all aspects of criminal law.

Ernest also continues to maintain his accountancy practices, he provides consultancy on all aspects of accounting and routinely files annual accounts for a cohort of clients.

 

Portia Kumalo

Portia is the Managing Director for KK Consultants.  A graduate Nurse and Midwife by back ground Portia has over 25 years experience working in the health service in the UK.  Her areas of clinical specialist interest are in Maternal and Child Health, her work in interventions to reduce maternal to Child Transmission of HIV is published internationally.

Portia is an experienced health operational manager, her strength in this area is in quickly identifying the key issues that will make the most impact and enlisting her teams to be part of the change process.  She has strong financial and performance management experience in the health sector.

Portia has a wealth of experience of working with medical team at local and national level to drive service improvements.  She prides herself in being able to gain clinical engagement at an early stage of the any health programme cycle.

As an experienced Commissioner Portia has worked in local government and in health services to drive the integration agenda.  Her experience also includes providing commissioning and service redesign support to both health and local government organisation.  In her role; as Principal Consultant at KK Consultants; Portia maintains her skills by working with a group of Health and local authority clients where she leads on number of work streams.   Her latest work has included producing commissioning strategy plans, commissioning intentions, developing memorandum of agreements and section 75 agreements between health and local authorities.

Portia is also an experienced executive coach, she continues to coach a number of clients and incorporates her coaching methods in the consultancy work achieving considerable success in skill transfer with the client team as part of the transitional arrangements for mainstreaming the work at the end of the assignment.

 

Karen Kumalo

Karen is the Director of Development at KK Consultants and Chakula Ltd.  Karen is a Business Information Technology graduate by back ground.  Karen has an accredited Investment Administration qualification who has worked in the financial industry mainly in Data vending companies but more recently in Investment Banking in Assert management departments at a senior level.   Karen has a strong customer focus approach which she brings to the senior management team and the corporation

Karen has a wealth of experience in setting up new businesses and business processes including market testing and developing quality control processes.

An experienced project manager by back ground Karen utilises six sigma and Prince Two methodology in the work that she does.  She drives change and service improvements.  She has experience of moving operations to India, Singapore and Poland from the UK and USA.  Karen also brings to the Corporation experience of turning around failing businesses and where necessary making the strategic decision to move operations to other regions or even countries.  She has managed the start to finish processes in these operations using sound project management principles

 

Tatenda Mugadza

Tatenda is a Director at Stanford Crowe.  He studied for a law degree at The University College London University and completed his Legal Practice course at the University of Westminster.  He is currently a trainee solicitor.  Tatenda is specialising in criminal and civil litigation. He has extensive experience in criminal law which he obtained working as a paralegal for a number of years
